Weed Watcher Webinar
May 22 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Invasive species threaten our ecosystem. They outcompete native plants and alter our watershed’s habitats. They can also have devastating economic impacts and harm human well-being.
Join us for a Weed Watcher Workshop and learn how you can help prevent the spread of invasive species in our community. The Weed Watcher Workshop highlights Early Detection and Rapid Response (EDRR) weeds in the Tualatin River watershed. The workshop consists of:
- An introduction to the Tualatin Watershed Invasives Species Team (TWIST)
- A detailed look at Tualatin SWCD’s priority weed species
- Information on how you can participate in this community science effort
Participants who live in Washington County can receive a portable boot brush and copy of our handy Weed Watchers Guide, which includes information on how and where to report infestations.
