Backyard Stream Stewardship Workshop

The Backyard Stream Stewardship Workshop is a full-day event with presentations, hands-on activities, and an optional field tour from Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District and partnering organizations. We recommend this event for urban and suburban residents with a stream on their property who want to learn how to care for it! This year’s workshop covers topics such as:
- Improving wildlife habitat
- Improving water quality
- Addressing overabundance of weeds and nonnative and/or invasive plants
- Soil health and reducing erosion
- Resources on how to continue stewarding your backyard stream
