Naturescaping: Site Design Workshop
October 28 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Are you ready to start a naturescaping project but need a little help designing your space? Join this free workshop to practice creating a site design!
Naturescaping is a landscape design practice that uses simple techniques to mimic nature and welcome wildlife. This practice saves you time, money, and energy – all while providing a beautiful habitat for birds, wildlife, and you. The practice focuses primarily on incorporating native plants into your yard, garden, or community space. By creating a site design, you’ll have a step-by-step guide to transforming your space.
Topics include:
- Finding tools & techniques for assessing and designing your site
- Selecting the right plant for the right place
- Practicing creating a site design map
This workshop is best-suited for people who have attended a Naturescaping: Basics webinar or have a good understanding of the principles of naturescaping.
This workshop will include indoor presentations and hands-on activities. Please dress for the weather and anticipate walking on uneven ground. Lunch, beverages and light snacks will be provided.
