Sustainable Equine Management
May 4 @ 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Whether you’re new to horse keeping or have years of experience, this course will help you learn ways to simplify your horse keeping checklist while managing your property in a way that benefits the entire ecosystem. That means less time cursing your wheelbarrow and more time doing the things you enjoy with your horse, all year long.
This workshop will cover topics like, pasture management, mud and manure management, and nature-based solutions for equine owners. Discover innovative, non-toxic, chore-efficient solutions for mud management, insect and rodent control, odor management, water conservation, weed control, and more! Alayne will also share daily actions and long-term plans for pasture management, like sustaining and growing pastures, managing weeds, rotational grazing, renovating pastures, and fencing pastures. Join us to learn how you can keep your equine happy and healthy!
