Water Rights Training for Landowners and Land managers

During this half-day training, Laura A. Schroeder, Attorney at Law will teach you all about:

• Protecting existing water rights
• Water Rights under the Oregon Water Code
  o Surface Water Rights
  o Storage Ponds
  o GroundwaterGroundwater Water held underground in the soil or in crevices of rock.
  o Rainwater collection

Presenter: Laura A. Schroeder
Laura practices law and litigates in both administrative and judicial forums at the state and federal levels in Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, and Utah. Laura was born and raised in the small agricultural area of Vale and farmed onions, potatoes, sugar beets and small vegetable seeds for 15 years in Nyssa, Oregon before going to law school with her three children over 30 years ago.
