Early Detection and Rapid Response Species (EDRR):
These plant are our highest priority for treatment in Washington County. They are classified as EDRR because there is a chance to keep them at bay if they are actively treated. If you find any of these plants, we can treat them for you, free of charge.
Common Weed Species:
These weeds can be found throughout Washington County. They are not considered “priority” and don't require “rapid response,” but should be responsibly removed to help ecosystems stay in balance.
Depending on the infestation, herbicide application may be an appropriate control. Tualatin SWCD does not endorse the use of specific herbicide brands or products.
