In 2024, Tualatin SWCD accepted a conservation easement over a 134-acre family forest in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range. The Ridge Forest Conservation Easement allows for limited forest harvest and ensures a sustainable use of the timber resources while protecting fish and wildlife habitat, water quality, and sequestering carbon.
