Kristina is a PNW native and passionate about engaging adults and children in environmental education. At Tualatin SWCD, she connects Washington County residents to the Tualatin River watershed with inclusive, placed-based programs. She’s practiced conservation education for many years at Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Association of Northwest Steelheaders. She currently serves on the Oregon Zoo Community Advocacy Council, which works to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Oregon Zoo. Previously, she applied her diverse work experience as a board member of the Lake Oswego Sustainability Network. At University of Oregon, Kristina earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies and two minors in Biology and Special Education. In her spare time, she can be found cooking, kayaking, and enjoying Oregon’s wonderful natural environments.
