With the forthcoming Climate-Informed Forestry Guide for Washington County, this tour will visit areas of the Matteson Demonstration Forest featured in the guide. We will discuss variable-density thinning, oak release and restoration, site assessments and invasive weed management. 10am-2pm. Lunch provided. Come prepared to walk and talk, and we will have driving options as well. 

This field tour is designed for both landowners and natural resource practitioners, including foresters and land managers. Hosted by OSU-Extension and TSWCD.
